World Kettlebell Club’s Fitness Trainer Certification Course is the Foundational System for all Kettlebell Lifting. You will be instructed in a safe systematic progression through the fundamental Kettlebell movements. Whether are you a trainer, coach, athlete, fitness enthusiast, or just curious about the benefits of Kettlebell Lifting, this course is a must. What will be instructed at the WKC Fitness Trainer Certification?
  • The World Kettlebell Club Fundamental Kettlebell Lifts (15 technically sound traditional lifts). You will learn these lifts in detail and how to instruct your clients or athletes successfully. The World Kettlebell Club is an international governing body of Kettlebell sport and home of several world champion kettlebell lifters and WKC Head Coach Honored Master of Sport Valery Federenko . The WKC Fundamental kettlebell lifts are based on a record of proven performance and sports science.
  • The WKC Elite Fitness Protocol (EFP). The EFP is a systematic kettlebell lifting methodology designed to help the average to advanced lifter achieve a greater level of fitness or athleticism using a single kettlebell. This system is highly flexible and dynamic in its programming, allowing most individuals to progress safely regardless of their individual fitness level. The EFP is designed to give the Coach or Trainer the ability to customize or target the workouts to their athletes or clients specific needs or goals. The EFP can be utilized to achieve the goals of fat reduction, athletic conditioning,general fitness, or GPP (General Physical Preparation) training for Football, Basketball, MMA Fighters, Endurance Athletes, or Military/Police occupational readiness, etc.,

WKC Master Trainer Bio Cyrus Peterson

WKC Master Trainer Cyrus Peterson, PES, USAW, is the Founder of Advanced Training Concepts, Charlotte's Premier Kettlebell Training and Athletic Performance Center. He is also Coach of The ATC Kettlebell Team which includes several nationally ranked kettlebell athletes. Cyrus has over 20 years of experience in weightlifting and fitness and has worked with people of all levels from special populations to athletes. He began training with Kettlebells 4 years ago and successfully implemented them into his training programs. He subsequently opened a training facility centered around proper training with kettlebells and utilizing kettlebells to increase Athletic performance. Cyrus has been highly successful in his implementation of the WKC Elite Fitness Protocol and brings a wealth of knowledge gained from owning and operating a successful Kettlebell specific training facility. Cyrus is committed to teaching proper and effective kettlebell lifting and also showing fitness professionals and athletic coaches how they can use the kettlebell to maximize performance and results for their clients and athletes.
